Zinc stearate
（1）Molecular Formula：Zn(C17H35COO)2
（2）PROPERTIES: Zinc stearate is white or yellowish powder, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, can absorb water in the air, and can decompose into stearic acid and corresponding zinc salt in case of strong acid.
（3）Application: Zinc stearate are used as stabilizers in the processing of polyvinyl chloride resins, as softening and lubricating agents for rubber products, as polishes for textiles, as varnishes for paints, and as raw materials for cosmetics and flour.
